Hardy Island Update - January 2006

In 2004, Hardy Island Granite Quarries Ltd. partnered with Adera Natural Stone to form Haddington Island Stone Works and re-open the Haddington Island Andesite Quarry. This quarry supplied the stone for the BC Parliament Buildings, the Vancouver Hotel and many more of British Columbia's grandest historic buildings. It is considered by many to be BC's finest building stone. For more information on Haddington Island Andesite, please see Haddington Island Stoneworks
